Jon Kummer Obituary

Jon Charles Kummer passed away after a brief illness.

He graduated Bemidji High School in 1974. Jon owned Jon’s Refuse Service in the 1970’s. He moved from the Bemidji area and obtained a BS in Computer Sciences. When he returned to Bemidji, he successfully built the Jon’s Refuse Service business again.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ruth (Toots) Kummer.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Donna; his daughter, Angela Kummer; sisters, Barbara (Randon Lund) Kummer; Mary Peterson; Patricia (Steve) Simberg; grandson, Tavin Pederson. He has many nieces and nephews who will miss his humor and sarcastic wit.
