Will miss seeing his friendly wave as we pass his drive or while driving. He brought ribs one time to our house~too much he said to eat for himself. (had been given to him by the bar) Also brought over pizza and ate with us. Friendly but private gentleman who will be missed.

Howie was a private man but I was fortunate to get to know him during our time at managing Becida Bar and Grill. Enjoyed listening to his stories from his working days and his stories of his family. My wife/Janewould make him a plate on some holidays from our dinners and we would take to his home. He did not like the fussing over him as you might guess, but he thanked us warmly when we saw him next. Loved his Vikings football!! Rest in peace Howie.
