Harold Bohlmann, 85, of Bemidji, MN died Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Cornerstone Nursing and Rehab, Bagley, MN.

Harold Richard Bohlmann was born August 20, 1932 on the family farm in Grant Valley Township, Beltrami County to Edward and Iva Bohlmann. He grew up and worked on the farm until he married Linda Henderson in 1965. Harold worked for various local companies including Bemidji Blacktop, Sparky’s Construction and DNR Forestry. He finally retired in 1997 after 50 years with the DNR. Harold truly enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing and gardening. Spending time with family and friends was his most cherished time.

He is survived by his daughter, Maryann (Russell) Wilcowski of Bemidji; son, Kurt (Beth) Bohlmann of Fargo, ND; 2 grandchildren, Lane Bohlmann and LouAnn Wilcowski; brother, Herman (Sherry) Bohlmann of Bemidji and sisters, Dorothy (Alfred) Platt of Solway and Jean Truman of Duluth.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Delbert, Clarence, Rudolph, Kenneth and Edward.
