Dorothy Ann (Thompson) Winger

Dorothy Winger, 88, of Puposky, MN died Thursday, October 24, 2019 at her home.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 28, 2019 at Alaska Township Cemetery with Pastor Mike Naylor officiating.

Dorothy Ann Thompson was born January 17, 1931 in Crookston, MN to Floyd & Evelyn Thompson.  She grew up in the Debs, MN area and attended North Fork Country School.  She was united in marriage to Orville Winger on Jun 24, 1950 in Bemidji.  She and Orville farmed west of Nebish, MN until Orville’s passing.  Dorothy would remain on the farm her entire life- her true pleasure was being on that farm.  She enjoyed crocheting, jigsaw puzzles, and attending auction sales.  She also liked to watch Lawrence Welk and any other game shows especially Wheel of Fortune. 

She is survived by her daughter, Julie (John) Harris, Debs, MN; grandchildren, Jessica Harris, Debs, MN and Jason Harris, Front Royal, VA; great grandchildren, Jamie, Colten and Samuel Harris.  Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, Mickey and Neil.
