Debra Suzzanne Wolkoff

Debra Wolkoff, 61, of Bemidji, MN died Monday, July 30, 2018 at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 6, 2018 at Northern Bible Church, Bemidji with Pastor Corbit Magby officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church.  Interment will be in Frohn Eastside Cemetery.  Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home is entrusted with the services.

Debra Suzzanne Moon was born July 1, 1957 in Torrance, CA to Joseph & Sharon Moon.  She grew up in Sheridan, WY and then moved to Minnesota where she graduated from Grand Rapids High School in 1975.  That same year she married the love of her life, Bill Wolkoff on September 19, 1975 in Cohassett, MN.  Debra and Bill lived and worked in many areas of the country until finally settling in Bemidji in 1984.  She attended Northwest Technical College where she focused on accounting.  Debra worked for Gerald Smith Accounting and then Upper Mississippi Mental Health.  On January 10, 1995, Debra placed her faith in Jesus Christ.  She home schooled her children until they graduated.  Debra then went to work for First Lutheran Church and worked there until recently when she was diagnosed with cancer. 

Debra is survived by her husband, Bill; children, Billie (David) Turman, Jennifer (Brandt) Johnson, Samuel (Deborah) Wolkoff and Betty Wolkoff; parents, Joseph & Sharon Moon; siblings, Robert (Dawn) Moon and Samantha (Reed) Nielson.  She is preceded in death by siblings Jim Moon & Kelly Moon.
