Daniel "Dan" John Cermak

Daniel John Cermak, 39, of Becida, MN passed away October 5, 2018 in Wadena, MN.

A Celebration of Life will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 15, 2018 at the Becida Community Church with Pastor Adam Molina officiating. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements were entrusted to the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home, Bemidji.

Daniel was born in Hugo, MN to Jim Cermak and Lynn Cermak (Nelson) on November 17, 1978. Daniel was a graduate of Bemidji High School. Daniel enjoyed reading, learning and the outdoors. Daniel is a son, brother, uncle, friend and most importantly a father to Dylan Cermak, whom he leaves behind. Isaiah 41:10 says – So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will up hold you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Daniel will be greatly missed by his family and friends. We know he has found peace. And we know he will never be forgotten.

He is survived by his son, Dylan Cermak of Portland, OR; parents, Lynn (Dennis) Nelson of Becida; brothers, David Cermak of Detroit Lakes and Kris (Samina) Nelson of Colorado and sisters,  Kristy Cermak and Heather (Jared) Mistic of Becida.
