Chad Dion Link

Chad Dion Link died peacefully in his sleep December 12, 2019, at his home in Blaine, MN. 

Chad was born June 11, 1984 and struggled over the past 30+ years with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.  He put up a great fight, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.

Chad is survived by his Mother “Ma”, Peggy Pierzina and Step-father Michael Pierzina; Sister Kara Link & Erik Bruhn, step-siblings: Tesa Strot (Jason) & Aedan, Kelli Nelson (Mike) & Hannah, Joe Bauman, Logan & Teagan. Uncles & Aunts; Jim Jobe (Sue), Fred Jobe, Ray Jobe (Karen), Gwen Gladen (Bill), Nancy Gladen, Alice Huot, Roger Link (Jan), Larry Link (Sherry), Tom Link, Dawn Manthy (Ray).

Preceded in death by his Grandparents, Robert & Evelyn Gladen, Kenneth & June Link, & James Jobe.  His “dad” Steven Bauman, Father Richard Link, step-brother Steven Bauman.

We are very grateful for the many caregivers thru the years.  Jeremiah & Devin Dudley-McKinney, Josh Witzig and Family, Nicole Wade who made it possible for him to stay in Blaine.  Lynn & Joe Brausen who became very special to our family after meeting Chad at MDA Camp Courage.

Service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 150 2nd Street NE, Laporte, MN  56461, at 11 am and meeting family at 10am prior to the service.
