Vernon Vanden Berg, 74, Bemidji, MN died peacefully Monday, May 22, 2017 at Neilson Place, Bemidji.
Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home, Bemidji with Pastor Kent Dudley officiating. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Bemidji.
Vernon Lewis Vanden Berg was born January 2, 1943 in Clear Lake, SD to Jerry and Helena (Kleinjan) Vanden Berg. On June 2, 1978 he married Roberta Brown in Minneapolis, MN.
He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Modeen of Ramsey, MN and grandsons, Wade, James and Trent.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Helena Vanden Berg; wife, Roberta Jean Vanden Berg and brothers, Delbert Vanden Berg and Glen Vanden Berg.
