Suzanne Jill Current

Suzanne Current, 67, of Bemidji, MN died Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at CentraCare Hospital, St. Cloud, MN.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home, Bemidji. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Monday, April 17, 2017 at the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Suzanne Jill Current was born January 4, 1950 in Bemidji to Elston and Myrtle (Workman) Current. She grew up in Puposky and attended Pleasant Valley School and Bemidji High School. She proceeded to have children and further her education in her life. She fostered and adopted children. Her final career days were in the specialty department at Anderson Fabrics. She was selfless and accepted anyone into her life. Suzanne loved kids, her animals, gardening, music, canning, cooking, baking, sewing, crocheting and doing crafts. She was a very talented and creative woman.

She is survived by sons, Shane Shaffer of Waite Park, Shawn Jackson of Bemidji, Shannon Kolu of Waite Park, Deven (Sabrina) Current of Montevideo and Colton Current of Bemidji; daughters, Tamara Halverson of Clear Lake and Summer Current of Duluth; 21 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and brothers, Robert Current of Bemidji and Steven (Sherry) Current of Puposky.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elston and Myrtle Current; brothers, Dwayne Current and Ronald Current and sisters, Sharon Brown and Sheila Cloud.
