Logan was a special person. His smile would always light up any room he walked into. He was the type of person everyone wanted to be around, he always put others needs and happiness before his own making him a special person. It is so hard to comprehend the fact that God would take someone so worthy of so much from us. Through this time of hurt, pain, anger, and frustration I pray that not only his family but friends can find Peace within this. Logan, your family is in my thoughts and prayers. Your genuine desire to help others will live on, and I hope that people will continue aspiring to be like you.

Logan took a political science class from me during his senior year at Bemidji High School. Never shy from talking politics, he contributed to many classroom discussions. He took the time to stop by after high school and update me on his military career. A caring and considerate student. My sympathies to his family.

Gilbert was a man who stood for what he believed in and was passionate enough to always stick by his beliefs but also be open-minded towards others and was always willing to help a brother in need. Life is fleeting, and in Gilbert's life he made a positive impact on many people. He will never be forgotten and although he was only here for a short time, he gave maximum effort in that time and will always be remembered for it.
