Linda Lou (Carroll) Masterson

Linda Masterson, 69, of Bemidji, MN died Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at the University of Minnesota Hospital, Minneapolis, MN.

A Celebration of Life will be 1-3 p.m., Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Linda and Devlin’s home.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bemidji.

Linda Lou Carroll was born March 22, 1948 in Bemidji to Herb and Helen (Haberle) Carroll. She grew up in Bemidji, attended Northern Elementary School and Bemidji High School. Linda married William Masterson July 31, 1964 in Bemidji. She worked at Midwest Cable TV, then Charter Communication, Thrifty White Drug and L&M Fleet Farm. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, gardening, chopping wood and her chickens and goats.

She is survived by her sons, William (Robin) Masterson III of Bemidji and Devlin Masterson of Bemidji; daughter, Candice “Candy” (William) Ruttger of Backus; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and sisters, Nina (Dennis) Bushie of Bemidji, Martha (Dan) Britton of Wyoming and Ella Morrison of Bagley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alonzo and Helen Carroll; husband, Bill Masterson and brother, Oliver Carroll.
