Laddie Dean Bahr Sr., 75, of Bemidji, MN died Monday, March 20, 2017 at his home.

Laddie Dean Bahr Sr. was born August 27, 1941 in Bemidji, MN to Nickolas and Violet (Hunter) Bahr. He grew up in Bemidji, attended Lincoln Elementary School and graduated from Bemidji High School. Laddie lived and worked in Bemidji his whole life, working at Nu-Ply, Solar Gas which later became Cenex as a tech for 36 years, retiring in 2003. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on fish stoves and furnaces and smoking turkey and venison. Laddie played softball with his family as a pitcher.
He is survived by his son, Laddie Dean (Stacy) Bahr Jr. of Rio Hondo, TX; grandchildren, Connor Bahr, Allison Bahr and Caitlin Bahr; great-grandson, Carter Dean Bahr; brother, Gary Bahr of Bemidji and sister, Nikki Jean (Ralf) Wallace of Hammond, IN; and Sister-In-Law, Margaret “Margo” Bahr, Bemidji.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Violet Bahr; wife, Marjorie Bahr; brothers, Mike Bahr and John Lee Bahr and sister, Patty Bahr.
