Kevin Allan Binkley

Kevin Binkley, 37, of Puposky, MN died Sunday, June 25, 2017 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Hagali Township, MN.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 30, 2017 at Bethel Lutheran Church, 5232 Irvine Ave. NW, Bemidji, MN with Pastor Ken Glidden officiating. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Thursday, June 29, 2017 at the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home with a time of sharing at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Nebish Community Cemetery.

Kevin Allan Binkley was born July 23, 1979 in Bemidji, MN to Ernest and Ruth (Kaasa) Binkley. He grew up in the Nebish, MN area and graduated from Blackduck High School in 1998. Kevin married Renee Ferdig on September 5, 1998 in Blackduck, MN. He worked as a logger with Binkley Logging. He attended aviation school in Thief River Falls for 2 years and graduated as a certified mechanic. He returned to Puposky where he continued to do logging. He was a very active board member of ACLT (Associate Contractor Loggers and Truckers). He enjoyed participating in demo derby’s, 4 wheeling, hunting and spending time with his son, Garret, wife, Renee and his family.

He is survived by his wife, Renee Binkley of Puposky; son, Garret Binkley at home; parents, Ernie and Ruth Binkley of Tenstrike; brothers, Kenneth Binkley of Puposky and Kyle (Amanda) Binkley of Puposky; sister, Kristi Binkley of Puposky; 10 nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Colleen Ferdig of Bemidji and father-in-law, Kenneth (Rhonna) Ferdig of Blackduck.
