Diane Marie (Burdick) Braman

Diane Braman, 71, of Bemidji, MN died Monday, April 3, 2017 in her home.

A Celebration of Life will be 11:30 a.m., Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the Bemidji Eagles with Pastor John Hubert officiating. Inurnment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Bemidji. Arrangements were entrusted to the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bemidji.

Diane Marie Burdick was born August 21, 1945 in Bemidji to Francis and Eileen (Butcher) Burdick. She grew up and attended school in Bemidji. She married Delbert Braman and they had 4 children. Diane was a cook at Tom’s Resort, worked at MPI and Park Avenue Laundry for about 14 years before retiring. She enjoyed playing cards, going to bingo, figuring out puzzles and doing embroidery. Diane liked to visit with friends and family. She enjoyed helping with holiday baking.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Melissa (Orlan) Lauderbaugh of Laporte, Patti (Keith) Fenner of Bemidji and Teresa (James) Harthun of Caballo, NM; son, Allen (Debbie) Braman of Bemidji; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; sisters, Nancy (Ernie) Carlson of Roseau and Cathy (Gordon) McClellan of Vancouver, WA and brothers, David Burdick of Bemidji, Dennis (LuAnn) Burdick of Milwaukee, WI and Jack (Bonnie) Burdick of Rochester.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Eileen Burdick and brother-in-law, Ernest Carlson.
