Dale Roger Johnson

Dale Roger Johnson, 66, of Bemidji, MN died Sunday, April 16, 2017 at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center.

Memorial Services will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 5, 2017 at Calvary Lutheran Church, Bemidji with Pastor Genelle Netland officiating. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Dale Johnson was born August 25, 1950 in Forest City, IA to Bert and Janice Johnson. As a young boy his family moved to Nary, MN. Dale graduated from Bemidji High School and then attended vocational school in Grand Rapids. He then enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged in 1975. He met and married Linda Henderson on December 12, 1976 in Bemidji. Dale worked for several area businesses, primarily as a truck driver. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, canning, woodworking and spending time with family.

He is survived by his sisters, Nancy (Larry) Cole of Williams, MN and Betty Anderson of Bemidji; former spouse, Linda Henderson of Bemidji; daughter, Maryann (Russell) Wilcowski of Bemidji; son, Kurt (Beth) Bohlmann of Fargo, ND; 2 grandchildren, Lou Ann Wilcowski and Lane Bohlmann and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded by his parents, Bert and Janice Johnson and brother, Dean Johnson.
