Anna "Ann" Eva (Klemisch) Prince

Anna “Ann” Prince, 95, of Bemidji, MN died Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at GoldPine Home, Bemidji.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, August 24, 2017 at the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home, Bemidji with Pastor Tim Pomp officiating. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Bemidji.

Anna Eva Klemisch was born March 3, 1922 in Langdon, ND to Julius and Mary (Grimshaw) Klemisch. She grew up in Langdon, attended St. Alphonsus Catholic School and Langdon High School. She came to Bemidji to visit/stay with her sister who resided here with her husband. While here she met her husband to be Orlyne Prince and shortly thereafter she married him on May 13, 1939 in Bagley, MN. Anna remained in Bemidji for the rest of her life, residing primarily in the Wilton area where they raised their family. She was a stay at home mom, but later in life after all children were grown, she worked as a teachers aide at Solway Elementary School which she really enjoyed. She loved being a grandma and even to kids that weren’t her grandkids.

She is survived by daughter, Shelly (Brian) Christiansen of Bemidji; sons, Gale (Sandy) Prince of Bemidji, Glenn Prince of Eagle River, AK, Alan Prince of Fairbanks, AK, Doug (Carmen) Prince of Bemidji, Ricky (Margaret) Prince of Chugiak, AK, Steve (Diane) Prince of Bemidji and Ron Prince of Bemidji; 28 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents, Julius and Mary Klemisch; husband, Orlyne Prince; sons, Dennis Prince and Terrill Prince; daughter, Sherry Prince; grandsons, Matthew Prince, Travis Prince and Danny Prince; brothers, Edward Klemisch, Bill Klemisch, Tony Klemisch and Thomas Klemisch; sisters, Agnes Rich, Ruth Cubbon, Mary Kuefler and Ida Krumrey.
