Obituary for Justin Pierce

Justin Pierce, 29, of Bemidji, MN died, Sunday, February 3, 2013 at his home.

Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 8, 2013 at Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home, Bemidji, with Pastor Bill Goodman officiating. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Bemidji.

Justin Rolland Pierce was born April 5, 1983 in Bemidji, MN to Larry & Marlys (Darkow) Pierce. He grew up in Bemidji and graduated from Cass Lake High School through Youth Build. On May 27, 2007 he married Nicole Mabb in Guthrie, MN. Justin has worked for Bi-Cap since the age of 16 years old. He enjoyed spending time with his family fishing, hunting and loved rafting on the river. He enjoyed the outdoors and motorcycles.

He is survived by his wife, Nicole Pierce of Bemidji; son, Logan Pierce of Bemidji; mother, Marlys Westerlund of Bemidji; father, Larry Pierce of Texas; sister, Daniella Gardlin of Texas; grandmother, Kay Pierce of Texas; aunts; uncles; cousins and special friends, Randy Bohn Sr. and Randy Bohn Jr. of Minnesota.

He was preceded in death by a son, Aaron Pierce; uncle, Francis Lutgen; grandparents, Thelma Darkow, Albert Darkow and Orville Pierce.
